Tiger Wood
Golfer Tiger Woods’ poor display at the USPGA has left with him with no option but to depend on a wild card entry at the discretion of captain Corey Pavin for a place in the upcoming Ryder Cup squad. “I’d love to make the US team, but I won’t do it on points now. I’ll have to rely on Corey making me one of his picks”, confessed Woods after the tournament. Had Woods finished among the top fifteen at the PGA, he would have earned a place in the team automatically. However, he ended up with a disappointing performance putting his appearance at the Ryder Cup in doubt.
